Dear Universe, I Need Birthday Tickets to New York City

Happy 4th everyone!

Who wants to get me an early bday gift?

I was going to use my hard-earned Virgin America miles to go back to NYC for my bday. I haven't seen my father in almost a year or my best friend since she moved at the start of 2010. There is also a bunch of things I left in my apartment in Queens that I need to retrieve.

I find out tonight that I don't have enough miles for both ways. Man. And tickets are puhRICEy.

So I'm going to do something I haven't done in over 2 years: I'm going to ask the universe for something material.

Dear Universe,

I would really like some plane tickets to New York City for the week of my birthday please, thank you very much.

I wasn't sobbing uncontrollably and popping Xanax like I did during New Moon, but Eclipse's storyline pricks at me all the same. If only we all could have a man(boy) work so hard to be with us.
